  My son attends Mrs. Olson's class. She is a fabulous teacher. I can't rave enough about her. She truly cares about her students. She and her entire staff make me feel great leaving my son with them. I wish all were as lucky as I. Knowing my son is in good hands, especially at school is a wonderful feeling.

  This was actually my first year here at rameriez, I am a 7th grader and so far my experience has been decent. As I read others reviews I hear about certain teachers that are “racist” or “rude” but I actually haven’t ran into any teachers like this. I had sub that spoke about politics, and as you should know this subject should not be spoken of in school, especially by teachers. As soon as the school heard about this it was immediately solved. I also hear about Mr. Walker, I was absolutely terrified when I heard I was going to have this teacher, based off of what some of my 8th grade friends had said to me. But in reality Mr. Walker is a good teacher. Yes, some of his homework assignments are unreasonable, but as long as you do your work he will leave you alone. All he wants is for you to succeed through out your years of school. One thing about this school that is bad is the A.V.I.D program. This program was placed to help students get to college and how to stay organized properly, but in reality it is just very stressful. The field trips that they do are really cool, but sadly this is the only fun part. I had over 4 hours of homework for that class not even counting my other classes. I do not suggest to be apart of A.V.I.D at all, but if you love homework this is the class for you I guess.

  Ramirez Intermediate is an outstanding school. The school was recently recognized by the Department of Education as a California Gold Ribbon School for its outstanding academic and technology programs. Music, band, robotics, technology, Chinese, Spanish, art, sports, video production, AVID, Yearbook, ASB/Leadership, two electives, top notch academics, fantastic teachers and staff. Ramirez has it all. It is a great place to go to school and learn.
