Absolutely Delicious!!!!! Eru and Fufu and Egusi and Fufu ! Soooo Delicious!!! I highly recommend it!! So clean and Nicely prepared!! I wil be back for More I wish I could eat this Everyday ♥️🙏🏼

4th time ordering egusi . SERVICE IS THE BEST !!!!HOME COOKING AT ITS FINEST. DOOR PICK UP MAKES IT SO CONVENIENT. SO MUCH BETTER THAN VERONICAS IN INGLEWOOD. I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. WE TRAVEL FROM SAN DIEGO FOR THE FOOD.

I had a major craving and drove there since they are currently only accepting pickup orders. As this was my first time trying Tonge's Taste I was confused when reaching the location and thought GPS took me to the wrong place. I didn't realize it was a residence until I called to let them know I was lost. So, if you find yourself in a residential neighborhood, you are in the right place. It's the house on the corner.

The food was super hot, which worked out well for me since I live 20 minutes away -The food was the perfect temp when I got home to eat. However if you're planning on eating it right away, you might want to be careful.

I was a little thrown off at first since I've only had egusi soup that was spicy and peppery, which this wasn't, at all. I definitely missed the kick and flavor profile since it's what I am used to. That said, the soup was still delicious and comforting. The meat perfectly tender, enfused with flavor, and just the right bite size for picking up with the fufu, which had a lovely texture. I only wish the ratio of meat to soup was higher.

The portions were reasonable for one person, but a bit small for the price when compared to other restaurants, so be prepared for that if you have AMERICAN portion expectations that can feed a whole town.

Overall, it was a positive experience and would go back.
