Alexia did a wonderful job on my hair! She was very kind and professional. Will be going back!
An employee named Maree I believe gave me EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. My balayage is perfect and the color is amazing‼️ Thank you so much Maree. Alexia’s a big help, too. Customer service is great and they’re very welcoming considering I did a walk-in. They let another customer and me stay later than business hours until it was complete. Thank you so so much.
The first two visits were pretty okay. Then, I decided to book an appointment for an updo and make up look for a bridal party I was attending.
For some reason their booking site was down due to lack of payment, go figure. No urgency to get that situated, so anyone who made appointments through their booking site were being denied services and come back another day. Like wow. How do you stay in business like that?!
They were both 1.5 hours late. Like if you charge a deposit and put a client for an early morning appointment, you should be professional and be ready and on time or you know let me know they would be late and let me decide to keep the appointment or not. But no, they did not. They all just threw the blame at each other or tried to gaslight me why didn't I call the salon. Like how am I suppose to call when it is closed?!
Let me tell you, the gal who was suppose to do my up do didn't want to do my hair and instead worked on coloring another client. The gal Alexa who did both my hair and make up at least took over and did my hair. I didn't get the updo I wanted because I didn't have time for it anymore.
The make up session was like an episode of the worst make up artist in the city on YouTube. Her brushes were dirty, and I found out by the time she was half way done. She did not use disposable lip brushes or anything disposable. She did clean my face, but double dipped the products on my face. I think the lip gloss was the part I gagged because she applied it and stuck it back it in its original container and it was used before. I was shocked and, I hoped and prayed I didn't get anything from it. Lack of hygiene, lack of sanitation, lack of professionalism. It was the most disgusting experience in my life. Overall I looked fine, it could have been executed better, but at least I didn't leave looking like a hot mess. If she at least been more sanitary about the make up application my experience would have been just disappointing instead of disgusting.
She did give me a discount for being late, and I paid the reminder because they could have denied me my deposit and not do anything, I think I was better off skipping the make up session if I knew it would play out like that. I will not return to this establishment after this experience.
From my experience I say Do Not get your make up done here, go elsewhere. If you don't mind inconsistent customer service go here.
My 88 year old mother got her hair permed and cut. Maria was very knowledgeable and careful with my mother. We both think it turned out great. Thank you Maria.
I am a retired hairstylist had my own business in DC had high profile clients for 27 years. When I found This salon it was a perfect match. I had the best highlights I ever had PERIOD! Not sure what the negative comments are about. These people know what they are talking about everyone is very experienced. Obvious continued education is required!
