Bring your patience along as there is lots of traffic and no parking. I thought it was worth tbe wait. The view is amazing.

This was such a beautiful hike - the flowers after the rains that we have had are amazing and so fun to take pictures of, also super easy to get to just off the side of the freeway so anyone can enjoy

Was very beautiful from the freeway. Never noticed it before. So many people taken pictures. Have to plan a trip there on time. Have to call and see how long they bloom for. It's the state of Calf. Flower so your not to pick them. But with the green grass and the bright yellow/orange flowers together looked pretty.????

It's POPPY TIME!!! Not sure how long they'll be blooming but they are now 2-26-19. It's an uphill walk of approximately 1and 1/2 miles if you hike to the end of the access road, a beautiful walk. NOTE to visitors! Please don't walk on the flowers, IT KILLS THEM.. There are signs everywhere saying to stay off but some entitled visitors feel it's ok to do so.

It was a good day for a healthy hike. We enjoyed being able to take our dog with us as well. There was plenty of parking and trash receptacles at the parking location.
