I paid Alexandra a visit after being referred by a client of mine. I am a massage therapist so having hairy arms isn't the greatest when massaging people (especially those that are hairy too). Trimming only left my arms more prickly so I wanted to give waxing an opportunity.

I booked a session for full arms and armpits. I was a tad nervous going in but she made me feel at ease and explained that it would hurt a bit but nothing out of the ordinary. She did a countdown to when the wax was going to be pulled off so it gave me a chance to control my breathe before the rip. Overall, the session went by quickly and my arms felt like butter.

After the session, she articulated the needed procedures to take care my skin for the next days. She gave me some lotions and told me to stay away from exercise or sweating for a day or so. I was extremely happy with the results and did the regime she advised. I had no bumps or irritation. Additionally, it helped me in my massage practice and gave me the ability to glide smoothly!

Highly recommend, especially for those with thicker skin. She uses quality wax and is very knowledgeable in the field.
