(February 28, 2017, 8:10 pm)I have learned that it is best to use the CVS Pharmacy app with the ExtraCare+Pay, it has a barcode to.be scanned or a number the pharmacist can input into the register that links all your personal information, allowing you to keep your personal information private, to get through a quick check out. Several times I have initially informed the pharmacists that I have my ExtraCare card linked to my phone number (which gives you a $5 credit after every 10 prescription fills/refills), I provided my number — they still don't give me points, then if I happen to notice I'll go back and deal with an ordeal to get the points. It's hard for me to go back, because they have to refund the transaction and charge it again, I am already struggling to walk in to get the prescriptions. Unfortunately, the CVS policy is no refunds once you leave which makes the drive through useless. The customer service here is very good, the pharmacists help me with my refills and go out of their way to help me.
The ExtraCare+Pay is beneficial because you don't have to give up personal information, like your DOB, Name, and so on.
