  A huge library with a lot of space to study and virtually empty. It would be nice to have a library like this in a more populated area. The restrooms are in a separate wing and you have to ask an employee to let you in. They also smell terrible.

  This is just what the valley needed. Great facility with staff that is always willing to help. Plenty of computers, inexpensive copies and more. I love reading.

  Great customer service, love story times for kids, very clean and modern. I'm there with my kids about twice a week.

  I came here today to turn in library books, it closed at 5. I got here around 4:45 and the automatic doors were locked, however the inside doors were open. I tried to knock...nothing. I called only to then hear an operator. It's a nice library, but if they say they close at a certain time, that's when they should close...not almost 20-25 minutes before. But overall, this library is amazing and they have nice staff.

The Library was dedicated by Riverside County Supervisor Bob Buster in a ceremony on October 27, 2012 attended by over 2,300 persons.

Veterans - Riverside County Libraries

The Riverside County Library System has received a Library Services & Technology Act (LSTA) Grant to establish a Veterans Resource Center, a resource dedicated to helping veterans and their families. The Center is located at the Mead Valley and Palm Desert Libraries. Apply here to volunteer at the Mead Valley Library.

This is a nice library with free internet access on the computers with a 2 hour time limit. They don't offer free guest passes to use the computers. If you have a Mead Valley library card you can check 30 items out which is a lot and it's nice because you can request books and movies from other libraries.
