Retina Consultants of Southern California: Carlson John P MD

Dr. John P Carlson, MD takes excellent care of my eye post op. I had a complex retina detachment and surgery to fix it in Michigan then moved to California a couple months later where he now treats me. He is very professional and cares about his patients. He respects my need to know about my eye and takes the time to answer the questions I have by tailoring his explanations to my level of understanding. He is great at attempting less invasive methods first seeking to improve your conditions. He found a medicine my swelling responded well to and was able to significantly reduce my swelling almost to the point where there was none. I definitely recommend him!

I was referred to Dr. Carlson's office at Retina Consultants of Southern California by my optometrist. Front desk very helpful and professional. Dr Carlson took the time to listen to my explanation of my symptoms and was very through in all his testing and really took his time to explain his findings and was very encouraging regarding my diagnosis. Excellent bedside manner and his detailed explanation of what I'm experiencing.

The service here was extra ordinary ,staff is extremely professional and shows great concern for the customer. Dr Carlson was very attentive to the needs and concerns of my fiance, excellent bed side manner, he is truly a Dr who adds a new meaning the word ethics. I will highly recommend him.
