Only could have been nicer on a sunny day. Went up with the 2 kids today and knocked out a nice walk, lunch, and adventure. The pools are certainly a site to see and about only a 10 minute walk from the parking area if you walk a decent pace. Plenty of poppies in the area, more than I have seen in a concentrated area anywhere else on the preserve. Many other nice flowers to see as well. Didn't get to see the shrimp today, maybe next time.
Pools were beautiful - trails was easily managed. Fun little day trip.
This is a great little hike for the family. I have a 2 and 3yr old. Carried my 2 yr old in my child carrier and my 3 yr old walked the whole thing.
Nice hiking area after the rains filled the pools. Weather is good for hiking during winter. Head towards the Adobe for views of the hills and distant mountains. A nice day hike.
it was kind of a cool day but it was beautiful saw some coyotes the pools were dry but it was still beautiful
