I would highly recommend him for the entire family. My husband has more critical needs and it’s the first Dr he has felt comfortable and happy with. Plan for a longer visit when you go to his office because he does take his time with his patients. The office staff are also incredible, knowledgeable and make you feel like family. “A couple of years ago, I spent a week in another Hemet Convalescent Hospital and it was not a good experience. In comparison, the Devonshire Care Center was a very pleasant experience. After a hip replacement, they kept my pain tolerable, They listened to my concerns and took action when necessary. Most of the nursing staff was friendly, caring, helpful, and took good care of me and those patients in the room with me. Two nurses in particular went out of their way to make sure I was having a good day and that my needs (both physical and emotional) were met. I'd like to thank M. Cuevas and K. Garcia for making me feel safe and cared for, although there were many other nurses and CNAs that were excellent too. The food was not bad, much better than at the Hemet Valley Hospital. The therapy staff was also excellent and while they gave me exercises and encouraged me to progress, they did not push me to the point of pain or exhaustion. Devonshire's staff made my stay comfortable and I recovered quickly so that I could go home after 5 days.”

“Always busy, so be prepared to wait. There is usually a wait at all their locations. Staff is beyond accommodating (Riverside) so we don't mind. It's not their fault so we wait patiently. Dr Chang is to the point, efficient. Asks about blood pressure, etc. I've read a couple reviews saying he's curt, but I think he's just to the point. Dr Chang knows his trade and that is important to me. Rancho Cucamonga had beyond terrible reception. Back office was good, but the reception was so rude that we haven't been back to Rancho since. Reception has no empathy for their clients. It was a hot day, no room in reception area, they would not allow patients to wait in their car and call or text when they were ready for them. Elderly patients outside in heat waiting over an hour. Disgusting! Riverside they are very aware that a large amount of their clients are elderly and accommodate. They always allow my mom (98 years old) to wait in car and call us when they are ready. It takes them less than a minute to call, but that keeps us coming back there, no matter how long the wait is.”
