  I ordered the half chicken with greens and mac and cheese. My husband ordered the half fried chicken with greens and baked beans. The greens could use a lil more flavor, tasted better with the hot sauce. The baked beans didn't have any flavor. The baked and fried chicken were good. The portion size was small for the sides also but I would go back.

  Thank you brother and family for the excellent family meal ?? .EVERYTHING was very delicious!!!!!. Ribs,chicken,fish,greens, sweet potatoes and potato salad ALL very good .just like home. The customer service and friendliness are unsurpassed!!!!. I have been coming here for 15 years and am excited as ever when I get to eat here . I truly love you guys .keep up the excellent work and ALWAYS STAY THE SAME GOOD PEOPLE that you are .

  I was shocked how incredible their food is! Absolutely loved every bite!
  As a black woman with my roots in Mississippi I’m VERY critical of Soul Food/BBQ restaurants. Up to today, I felt “no one can Que better than my gramp or uncles” and “no one cooked better collard greens, okra, cornbread or sweet potato pie than my Nanny or Aunts.”
  Yet This place did just that! The Que was AMAZING and the collard greens (forgive me Nanny) were better than hers!
  This place is now my favorite restaurant in Sacramento/Placer County and I will be back regularly!

  The best ribs I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious. HIGHLY recommend. Great prices and good portions. Friendly staff. Will definitely go back again.

Have had the ribs, chicken and tri tip, ample delicious sides, eating in has polite and helpful service. Making want some now that I'm thinking about it. I have to have ribs and chicken when I go there because I can't choose. Their cornbread is wonderful, especially with those little packs of honey.
