  Great service. I would recommend the steak and shrimp fajitas. The steak is perfect not to under cooked or over cooked the shrimp is great.

  This little joint is awesome. Great food, (the mulitas are to die for), literally never had more authentically nice service, and the margaritas are perfect.

  SUPER GOOD Mexican food... I guarantee it! Made from scratch and owners are so nice.

  We had a late lunch (3pm) at Sabor A Mexico today, in our continued quest for a decent Mexican restaurant in Elk Grove. I am giving Sabor four stars because of all the Mexican restaurants we've eaten, in "the Grove," this has been the best. The restaurant was clean, the service friendly and fast- but consider the time we were dining because I've heard they can get busy and a wait isn't unheard of for this somewhat small dining area. We started with Guacamole. The portion was a good size (though they use skimpy little bowls for their chips) and it was fine; in our opinion it needed seasoning- had a good amount that we ended up taking home, and the addition of garlic and a bit if salt improved the taste. My husband enjoyed the Chimichanga with shredded beef. I thought they could have been a bit more generous with the rice and beans on his plate. I forgot to take photos of the entrees. I had the Taco Salad, also with shredded beef, and found it passable, but not particularly pleasing to the eye. They could stand a little work on their presentation and the food temperature definitely could have been warmer. We will be going back again. Next time we'll order different items, and hope we're as satisfied as we were today.

  We just found this hidden gem! Clean atmosphere, friendly service and authentic tasting Mexican food. My husband is Hispanic and the first time we went here he said, "this taste like my grandma's food." One of our new favorites. This was our second time dining here and it was extremely busy but the service was fast and food was excellent! Love it!
