(October 5, 2023, 2:05 am)The service was very good and I ordered a BBQ pork ramen. I was so surprised the meat melted while I ate it and tasted so yummy, but a fly in the ointment was the price a little bit expensive.

(August 9, 2023, 12:20 am)The most delicious and mysterious Japanese restaurant in the American West. Friendly service always makes guests feel good. A hot place where you can feel the fresh ingredients. No more explanation needed. Call right away and make a reservation. There are always no seats.

We checked out this place after reading the reviews. This was the Blue Nami place, it still has the sign.
The restaurant is very clean, and the service is ok. Our server was a little on the pushy side and was hard to understand.
We ordered the combination tempura, one of the better batters in the area.
For our sushi selection we went with the following:
Mucho Caliente - spicy tuna, cucumber, cilantro, tuna, spicy mayo, jalapeno, sriracha, masago
Orange Blossom - tuna, avocado, salmon, house 2 sauce, green onion, masago
The flavors were good, but the fish on top was just a tiny sliver of salmon.
We'll probably try other sushi rolls, but are we willing to spend our sushi money here or our regular spot? We'll see... -

(February 13, 2023, 9:03 pm)We do a daddy/daughter date for her birthday every year. I wasn't thrilled when she picked "that sushi place next to the movie theater" but it was her choice so we went.
I was surprised that it was no longer Bluenami Sushi... Actually I wasn't. The last experience I that I had with my wife at Bluenami was bad. Hence why I didn't want to got.
Wow! What a change. The atmosphere is more laid back and peaceful. The sushi was amazing. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and prompt.
I will be bringing my wife back to one of our favorite locations and my new favorite sushi restaurant.
My daughter says 👍 excellent customer service.
