(November 10, 2020, 11:45 pm)Tori's Place is my away from home pathway to back home when I'm not cooking! Everything here is as good as that cooked by the kin and I'm not lying! If its Southern food you're looking for that's very good, this little place has it; you might have to downsize your party or order ahead depending on number in your party as I did mention size right?

(October 11, 2020, 12:23 pm)Tori and her sister (?) are so personable and make you feel right at home. The chicken, hot water cornbread, and gumbo are my favorite. The mac&cheese left me a lil disappointed but my plate was full of so much food, it wasn't too much of a loss.

(September 26, 2020, 5:34 pm)Don't let the location or building appearance fool you, this is the best soul food in Sacramento. Everything on the menu is worth the price. Only my late grandmother's cooking was better, but only slightly. These folks know what the hell they're doing.
