  David Taylor is not only a spectacular accompanist, but a genuine treasure of an instructor. It’s not often that you find a professional, in any industry, that is as able to effectively communicate different theories, concepts, and practices to such a diverse community of students. Regardless of age or capability, David is sure to clearly and positively guide you down your own individual path to becoming a stronger performer.

  David has been my voice teacher for several years. I had been in a choir setting for most of my singing career. At 50 years old, I wanted to try doing solo work. Over time, David has taught me techniques and encouraged me to sing in ways I never believed possible. His own amazing talent and the sharing of his learning journey, helped to normalize my experience and keep me from being overly hard on myself. And, as an unexpected gift, my newly found self confidence in my singing ability has overflowed into other areas of my life. I am so grateful for David’s talent, teaching style, patience, and encouragement.
