Nagato Sukiyaki

Pretty good meal and very attentive server. The reason I remove 1star is because of the bill. I attached their bill where they asked for 40,30,20% as a tip. It’s even post tax not pre tax. Usually restaurants put tip amount 25,20,18% pre tax. Food was okay and the service was good. However, the bill made us feel pressure.

A Sacramento fixture that never disappoints. A wide ranging menu from traditional Japanese comfort food to more contemporary American-style sushi. Always a favorite of ours for special occasions. Service is always attentive and reflects the family-owned nature of Nagato.

We made reservations, highly recommended. Our neighbor suggested
Nagato Sukiyaki,great idea. We ordered the whole menu it seemed like. Tempura 🍤, sushi 🍣 rolls,salmon skin hands rolls, Hamachi Cama , and Katsu Curry 🍛 😋.
The service was great. Nice and clean .
There is a sushi 🍣 Bar too. Parking is ample.

The food and service is sooooo good! The servers are so kind and welcoming. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant ran by people you want to know. This quickly became our favorite sushi/Japanese restaurant. See you again soon!

Amazing food, service and experience. This is my family's go to sushi restaurant, even though we live over an hour long drive away!
