The Local Bark Park

The Local Bark Park has been a weekend staple activity since they opened it up just about a year ago. Great dogs, great people, great atmosphere, and being able to enjoy it all with a beer adds just the right touch. So happy we found this place!

Our pups love The Local Bark Park & we do too! We love the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the employees and other dog owners are trained and know what dog language to look out for. The pups play in the pool all year round & there are plenty of balls & other toys to play with too. The park has lighting and heaters for when it gets dark or cold, and a great selection of local beers & other drinks & snacks. We usually spend three to four hours a weekend here!

We love coming to The Local Bark Park. It’s the best part of our weekend. Heaters for when it’s cold, misters when it’s hot. A pool for the water dogs and a “castle” for dogs like Bear that don’t like the water. Did I mention, all dogs are temperament tested and up to date on their shots. And after a long hard week, you can enjoy a beer from local breweries.

Such a fun atmosphere for dogs AND their people! Had a great selection of locally brewed beers and the ball drop never disappoints. Highly recommend!

This is the best and only private dog park in Sacramento! Dog owners can feel safe because they require proof of vaccinations and they monitor dog (and people! ) behavior. Misters and plenty of shade as well as a big in ground pool make it a great place to beat the heat for you and your dog. They will have gas heated in the winter and light so you can stay into the evening. Did I mention the fantastic local craft beer and hard seltzer selection? A dozen of different selections from hard seltzers to IPAs to blonde ales and more. All local! This place is awesome for dogs and owners.
