Wish this place was closer (it's technically in Sac, but feels like going to Elk Grove). The pineapple bun (plain) is among the best in the area -- the bun is fluffy and T&5 doesn't skimp on the "pineapple" crust. Also really enjoyed the salted cream cake thing that comes in a cup. The Portuguese egg tarts here (I think are called "milk tarts") have a cookie style crust (not flaky), and are indeed much milkier/creamier and not as egg-y than a typical po-tat you'll find in an Asian bakery. Prices are reasonable (between ABC and 85C). The packaging/wrapping can be a little excessive.
I love this place, I had the fruit cake for my birthday and it. Was. Delicious! The cake had the right amount of fruits and it wasn’t even too sweet. The whipped cream was light and the cake was also light and moist. I understand now why so many people get it lol.
Their cakes are so pretty and tasty! Not overly sweet and always tastes fresh. My 101 year old grandmother is quite picky with her cakes as she does like the American kind. But she loves these!
Good breads. Bakery atmosphere feels so luxurious like your inside of a five star hotel decorated by Martha Stewart. Such a fancy feel. The bread is kinda pricy but definitely worth it.
