She initially rescheduled my appointment because I scheduled a peel in the summer, which is a no-no for peels. It was absolutely worth the wait, since later I heard from numerous estheticians and researched that peels can make melasma worse if the skin after a peel is exposed to sun, and with the hot summers in Sacramento, a peel would have ruined my skin. You know it's a killer pizza joint when you can be completely satisfied with just a slice of cheese pizza. And let me tell you, I was more than satisfied. I was cheesin' from ear to ear. I have to warn you. The sausage, pepper & onion pizza is Mmmmmagnificent! I couldn't help but do a little happy dance with each bite. And the folks working there are so nice, I almost wanted to invite them over for a pizza party. But be warned, don't burn your mouth. The pizza is hot and delicious, but you don't want to end up with a burnt tongue like I did. It's not a good look. And the employees are so busy, you know they're making fresh pizzas all day long. Giovanni's Old World New York Pizzeria is a slice above the rest. Just be prepared to leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.”
