“This recovery home is down the street from my home. The folks are nice and not one nearby neighbor has ever had anything but nice things to say about this place. They strive to be considerate neighbors and not bother anybody. Folks who just can't kick the booze or other addiction can hopefully break the cycle here. Folks can stay here awhile and maybe go back home better equipped to deal with their lives drug and alcohol free. A while back another group was on the street for two years and were exactly the opposite. That group (an Outreach) gives recovery homes a bad name. Alternatively this group is a good example of what a group should be. They keep their issues inside their house. The other group was your worst nightmare! Fortunately the owner was forced to evict them with the help of code enforcement. The Rancho Cordova City Council seems to like these kind of homes since they likely help improve the City's image. This city (Rental City or Rancho Cordova) has teetered at about 50% rental and some of those in the many subsidized housing units may not have the same level of concern and respect for others in their vicinity or rental city.”
