I preferred his style of hands off, versus some of the busy body corporate landlords in the area. He was always fair to me in negotiations and when I moved out in the middle of the lease after several years he gave me back my deposit which was not even owed to me, as technically I broke the lease. Ultimately he's not perfect but was a kind man and one I enjoyed renting from.”
