“Awesome place to come for a margarita and appetizer. This is just what I wanted on this Sunday afternoon. Since it was middle of the afternoon, there was no wait whatsoever….we were seated promptly by the waiter and quickly given some water. We ordered house margaritas on the rocks with salt and these were made excellently! We also ordered some chips and salsa which came with some kind of side of cabbage slaw which sounds kind of odd but if you add a bit of the salsa to it, it totally works! Just trust them and try it…that’s all I can say. We also shared a chicken quesadilla which came with a generous heap of guac and sour cream. Chicken was shredded and moist and it was cooked to a perfect crisp. Oh and it also included a side of their delicious warm green salsa, perfect for dunking your quesadilla in. Easy in and out and my thirst and belly were happy! Great local go to Mexican place!”

“We ate at the Mexican next door one night and saw this place on leaving. De ided to come back the next night andgive it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised as they had beef with black bean sauce on the menu. I got the spring rolls and my gasoline beef and I was not let down. Just the right Moint of black bean and ginger made my night. The food was hot and very tasty. They have a limited beer menu, but you Can eat in and it's way worth it. The service was great and the server very polite. You will hear some arguing in the kitchen in Chinese, but that's all part of the ambience here.”

“First time eating here on a slow Monday evening around 7:30 PM. The older gentlemen who served us water was so sweet. He even brought out my 2-year old's water in a cup with lid. He complimented her as well. The lady who took our order was extremely sweet as well and very patient. We got our food within 10 minutes or less. The rice plate was superb! My kids loved it and wanted more. Eggroll was delicious and flavorful. The combo chow fun has got to be the best chow fun I've ever had! Extremely hot, fresh and flavorful with a nice char/wok flavor. Bun rieu was absolutely delicious and had so much meat, tofu and blood cake in it. Pho was delicious. Broth was on point and meat, tendon, tripe and meatballs in the pho were also delicious as well and perfectly cooked. We also had their 3 color dessert, which was great and jackfruit shake. The only thing is the water cups didn't look the cleanest, but we could look pass that as everything else was beyond superb and prices were great considering the large portions. (Oh and the location is sketchy as there is a liquor store next to it, but that's something that is out of their control) Definitely our new to-go Vietnamese restaurant in Sacramento and definitely recommended! Can't wait to go back and try the other food on their menu!”

“I ordered the Pulled Pork Salad. I appreciated how the meat was set off to the side so you can choose to eat it with the salad, or not - and the pulled pork was delightful. The salad was also good, the strawberries, apples, and spring mix all taste very fresh. At $15 It’s a bit steep for how much you get, but it’s undeniably quality food. The service was… okay. I’ll let this slide on the review because another employee was able to help me, but the person that rang up my order did not seem to have a very good idea of her restaurant’s portion sizes and didn’t ask which dressing I wanted (the menu states you have to choose) and I had to later remind her after forgetting myself. Not a huge deal which is why I’m still leaving 5 Stars. The atmosphere is also nice, both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are enjoyable. Overall a good experience and I will definitely continue eating here.”

“I love panda express! It's not Chinese food but whatever it is, it's delicious! 🤣 We ordered the family meal ($29) which comes with 2 sides and 3 entrees. We got fried rice, chow mein, honey walnut shrimp ($3.75 extra) and double orange chicken. Always, always order online. Picking up will be way faster. This place is always busy and kind of ghetto so watch out when walking to and from the restaurant. This family meal is a great deal! We fed 4 people and there is still leftover orange chicken for later. Get this instead of the individual plates.”

While the food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful. All this service and quality for a great price! My go to favorite tends to switch between the sunrise special (two eggs any style served with country potatoes or fruit or sliced tomatoes, toast, plus add on bacon) and morning breakfast (two eggs any style, bacon or chicken apple sausage or ham & slice of french toast, served with country style potatoes). With an iced tea and mimosa to drink, they have flavors (orange, pineapple, cranberry and grapefruit). Check them out sometime, they have indoor and outdoor seating. With the out door even including nice umbrellas to keep the sun off you during the hotter weather.”

“Great joint to get some good food that comes out speedy quick. We were in and out in less than. 30 minutes. Highly recommend the Bert’s omelette. Also a favorite of many is crushed ice, they use that here! The inside looks like an old 50s diner, equipped with a person radio at each table, and wow is it neat. I couldn’t stop looking around. Definitely want to come back for lunch one day. The bathroom was clean and neat. I won’t just come back for the food or the scenery but I will also come back for the polite service that was on point that never let us see the bottom of our cups.”
