“I arrived about 4 hrs early. Guard was nice, we had a steady conversation through out checking in. He was able to get me in 1 1/2 hr before my appointment. Nice!! Plenty of room docking, I was so tired, and had only 30mins on my clock. Asked the guard if I could park on the yard for a bit. He told me they didn’t have anymore room. In other postings this was accommodated. I had seen a number of open spots, driving back up to the front, including the spot he had me stage in. But he said no, and directed me to an area around the corner. I felt if I had paid him, I would’ve been able to stay. Don’t know for sure, but I did notice, there was another guard coming in, and when the first guard told me they were full, he looked over at the guard shack, (door was closed) and then, in a low voice told me there was no room. I kind’ve felt, money would’ve made a difference.”

The place is very clean and well maintained. They have fair prices and are very fair if you're late with your payments. “This was the best experience I've ever had (and I've had many) at a storage facility! The price was reasonable for the area. The online sign-up was super easy. The manager had the gate opened when I arrived and greeted me warmly - he seemed genuinely glad to have me. The facility itself is attractive, with greenery around it that gives it almost a park-like look (a big plus in my book!) The unit itself was spotless and looked brand new. “My friend and I were looking for a storage unit to move stuff to that day. I submitted a reservation online and I immediately received a call from Mekala, who discussed the promotions and sizes they had. She was amazing, caring, very friendly, knowledgeable and listened to my needs. I then received a call from Capri, who manages Citrus Heights location off of Tupelo. Let her know I wanted to see the different sizes they had available. She told us to come right in. As soon as I walked in to the office she greeted us with a big smile and took us to see the units. I chose the unit that worked for me and immediately signed up. Capri took the time to explain everything to me to make sure I understood everything that was in the agreement. When we came back to load stuff in the unit, had issues with the lock and the key broke. The place was about to close and I did not know what I was going to do. Luckily for me, Capri worked her magic and found another unit and we were able to get everything in to the new unit just in time before they closed. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did for me. She went above and beyond and provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. I wish there were a lot more people around like her. Thank you Capri for everything. If anyone needs a storage unit, I will refer them to you. You are the best!!!!”

“Eighteen months ago we needed help packing and storing our household goods after we sold our home and began traveling and exploring our life options post retirement. We chose Sierra Valley because they provided just the service we needed. They came into our home and spent three days carefully wrapping and protecting all of our furniture, artwork, and glassware. Absolutely everything was wrapped, protected and put into storage. Last week we moved into our new home, and Sierra Valley finished the job by delivering all of our household goods from storage. We were very impressed with their service. Working with them in our home through the packing up phase and again unpacking was as pleasant as moving can be. They were very careful to protect the furniture and the home. They were fast and focused. The price was very fair. We even had some of the same crew that packed us up be on the crew that unpacked us. There was a small chip on one of our hutch glass shelves. They took the shelf back with them after unloading and came back a week later with a new shelf. If we ever need to move again, Sierra Valley will get our business.”
