I was especially interested because German chocolate cake is Terri's fave and where her love of baking originated. Terri said she already had a bunch of orders to make that day and that it's best to call 48hours in advance (remember to do this!). An hour or so later, she called me back to say she somehow made an extra cake, lol. I rushed over there to get it and was so excited! 4 generations of family LOVED this amazing cake she made. Baby, myself, mom, and grandma. It was SO GOOD!!! And exactly what I was looking for - a German chocolate cake with plenty of coconut pecan frosting, and super moist. “The city of Sacramento with the hard work of Park and Recreation staff are slowly revitalizing our older neighborhood parks. Mangan Park residence young children can now enjoy a new playground area along with a new basketball court. The pool also received a well need facelift along with fresh paint throughout the building. After speaking with the City Pack and Recs employee I asked about the second building at the park near the pool that was a firearm shooting range several years ago if the city plans to reopen it, the park employee did not know although was aware there has been work on the building with fresh paint. The park also offers a archery range on the opposite side of the building. The restrooms are still not open during regular park hours although with a neighbor petition I believe we can change that! The old park is looking great.”
