My husband and I stayed in Cabin 20 this past weekend and had a fabulous time. The temperature in Big Bear was exceptionally hot, but before we checked in Loraine had gone up to the cabin to ensure all the blinds were closed up and had the window AC unit on ready for our arrival. We enjoyed the close proximity to the Village, and our cabin (being higher up on the hill) even had a peekaboo view of the lake. Definitely recommend choosing Cabin 20 since it is up higher than the rest and thus provides a little more privacy. The in-cabin jacuzzi is a huge bonus! The cabin also has a fireplace with complimentary wood that they provide—it was a little too warm this weekend for us to use, but would be a great amenity for the wintertime! We’re looking forward to coming back.
Loved staying here! This is a great place if you’re looking for some cabin life but still want to be close (walking distance) to the village. There are also some nice hiking trails very close by. It’s the perfect spot to stay if you want to get a weekend away in the woods, or a summer weekend at the lake, or when you’re headed up to the mountains for snow sports.
The owners are friendly and helpful. Great spot if you have kids or dogs!
The cutest cabins in the most prime location! I come up to big bear a lot and have stayed in a lot of cabins, but would definitely rebook with them again and again. This time, I came up here for a weekend trip with friends an having our own little cabins in the same location instead of having to drive to each other! Pet friendly so my fur child was allowed to come and had the time of her life.
The tub in the middle is awesome and huge! And both beds were super comfy.
Thanks to John and & his whole team for making me, my friends, and our fur children feel so welcome.
Had a wonderful time here. Great cabins with a Jacuzzi inside the room at least for the cabins my friends are I stayed in. It's a very close walk down to the Village and a short drive to the lake. The Employee/s were very helpful and nice when asking what are some good restaurants to eat at. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Big Bear Village Cabins. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🤙🏽🤙🏽
The two of us had an amazing and relaxing stay over the fourth of July. The property owner contacted us with a free upgrade (ahead of stay) to Brooke's Bridle Sweet to compensate for a lack of bubbles in the first cabin's Jacuzzi.
The place was very clean, full of all the bear essentials, and very private. Loraine made check in and out a breeze and made sure we had everything we needed.
The view of the fireworks on the 4th from the front porch was breathtaking, and we even cooked some burgers on their charcoal grill in the back. We plan to stay there again and absolutely loved the whole experience!
Bonus points: The location is a straight shot down Knickerbocker Ave to the free parking lot downtown, right next to all the shopping and food. Even within walking distance of the bowling alley and sporting goods store.
