  I have done walk ins, same day, and next day appointments. My recent visit was the same as the other previous ones. It was productive and successful from start to finish. Like usual, DR. BENTON had encouraged me to be my own health advocate and did not treat me like some hypochondriac by paying attention to me as I talked a lot and asked many questions. No question was treated like a dumb question. All questions were answered fully. I received plenty of sound advice. As always, I left feeling better and had the rest of the day to complete other daily goals.
  
  DR. BENTON is a blessing to me. I feel very blessed to have found CompCare. I have been going to DR. BENTON for 10 years. Before I found CompCare through a referral from my medical insurance company, I was changing doctors every one to two months over a period of eight months because of my poor experiences with them. Before I started coming to CompCare, I had changed doctors six times. Before experiencing these six previous doctors, I did not have health insurance during most of my adult life and did not go to the doctor at all.
  
  Over the years, I have happily and enthusiasticly referred others to CompCare.
  
  What moves me the most about DR. BENTON is that he continued to have a full staff and to keep CompCare opened with regular hours before and during COVID times. Despite the fear and panic, DR. BENTON continued to accept new patients. In person, DR. BENTON continued to examine and to treat new and returning patients while other physicians were sending in the nurses and medical interns, were implementing telehealth services, were working from home because they were scared of catching COVID. Whether it is the cold/flu, Ebola, Zika, COVID, monkey pox, DR. BENTON has not closed CompCare for regular "special staff meetings/trainings and extra cleanings" where business operations and patient services are disrupted as it is with other practices.

  First time here and had a great experience. Making the appointment is very easy you just call the number and let them know the date and time. If that date is booked they offer another date with the time you were looking for. Upon arrival I did have trouble finding the place BUT that was totally on me but it’s suite 110 in case you were wondering. Seating area is clean and has complimentary water bottle for you. There is an area for young children to play with the toys and books. Waiting chairs were comfortable.
  
  I had to fill out some paperwork it didn’t take long. Then the nurse does all the pre check before taking you to the room. Dr. Benton is super friendly and personable which is what I enjoyed about my visit. I had questions and I liked how he had answers! I know I have medi cal and sometimes people don’t treat you as well because you don’t have the better insurance. but this wasn’t the case with Dr.Benton he treated me as if I had PPO, I’m not kidding!!! I felt he really took the time to listen to my concerns and not rushing to get me out of there. Wish more doctors were like him to put the patient first! Also his nurse did a fantastic job at drawing my blood. I’m terrified of needles but I barely felt it, before I knew it we were done.

  Dr. Benton is a great doctor who takes his time to work through any issue with thought, care and concern. He has been wonderful in his approach to solving every symptom that has been presented to him.
  His staff reflect the same professionalism I see demonstrated by him.

  Dr. Benton is very professional & thorough, but he is also one of the kindest doctors I’ve ever met. I’ve brought my children to him on short notice, & seen him myself, & even on those drop-in sickness visits when his time is probably constrained because he’s squeezed us in, he’s never less than sympathetic & interested—I’d say a big complaint with many doctors is that, skilled or not, they give off an air of being rushed or that you’re not particularly important to them. Not Dr. Benton. This doctor cares, and kindness goes a long way when you’re in the vulnerable position of having to ask for help. I recommend him whole-heartedly!
