  My daughter sprained her ankle playing indoor soccer. After playing for nearly 8 years, this was her first real injury so I was very concerned. I wanted to make sure it healed properly and there would be no lingering issues. I started researching and found Empower. Within a few sessions I knew I made the right choice. They were very informative and provided us with a lot of great information. The physical therapy treatments were top notch and my daughter had made a full recovery and was given tools to make her overall strength and stability even better. We are very happy with the process and the result. The last thing to mention is with all of this, the people there are simply wonderful - kind and accommodating. Highly recommended.

  The staff at Empower really helped me this past holiday season through my injury. The office cultivates a personable environment for patients to get back on their feet. I thoroughly enjoyed my time getting treated from them. Grateful for all their help. They got it right over there. Recommend checking them out!

  I have suffered with neck/lower back pain for 4 years. I have tried countless things to find relief. From physical therapy, injections, medications, surgeons and natural remedies. I had given up on ever finding help! My daughter had been seeing Carlo and pretty much begged me to give him a try. I have been seeing Carlo for 3 months and have gotten more relief from his techniques than I got from all the other treatments I had previously had. He listens carefully and can target the area of pain quite successfully. (Other doctors made me feel that it was something I was doing that was the problem.) Carlo has great skill and knows what he is doing!!! I am really thankful for Empower Therapy! They are all super great and so helpful!!

  I came to Dr. Carlo at Empower Physical Therapy and Wellness looking to get some sense of my life back. I’ve had 10 surgeries, 5 of those within a 23 month span, on various parts of my body such as; neck, lower spine, shoulders and hands.
  I was looking to be able to walk at the park, shop by myself, bend over and tie my shoe, improve my severe limp, raise my hands over my shoulders, and various other activities that we take for granted on a daily basis.
  Doctor Carlo is able to look at his client with the vision, expertise, and complete knowledge of what makes the human body move. He takes into consideration the body, the act of movement, the emotional aspect and how it all comes together in holistic treatment.
  From the very first day I left the Empower Office I had an understanding of what my body had been through, but more importantly that there is always hope for a better tomorrow. In the year I’ve been at Empower I’ve accomplished more than I thought was possible given all the surgeries I’ve had. Make no mistake there is a lot of work involved, but Dr. Carlo has given me the tools to get my life back and hope for tomorrow. I am now able to walk at the park, shop alone, bend over and tie my own shoe, work in my garden, raise my hands over my head with improved range of motion, and take more of an active role with my grandson and the grandson on the way. I am forever grateful to Dr Carlo and his staff.
  His staff, under the direction of Dr Carlo and his wife Lisa, an Occupational Therapist, will treat you with the utmost respect, courtesy, and compassion from the moment you walk into the office. This professional environment and family atmosphere lets me know I made the right decision of where to go and get my life back! Thank you Dr Carlo and the entire Empower Office!

  My therapist did an adjustment and told me what to change in my exercise routine in order to provide me more comfort. I think the highlight of my experience there was that he asked me several times if I understood what was going on and why I would be doing the exercises I was. I definitely appreciate knowing why I'm doing an exercise rather than being told to "just do it" because I'm aware of what such exercises are doing to help me. My therapist even emailed me to check in and see how I was doing once I went back to college. My visit to Empower changed my outlook on PT and the overall experience was truly a positive one.
