  We really are fortunate to have our local Crestline post office. It's true that at times the line is long, but in general the employees handle the situation graciously and politely. Also, it is very helpful that someone is there early in the mornings on weekdays so that people whose work schedules prevent them from getting to the post office during regular hours can pick up packages etc.
  
  The above was my review from several months ago, and generally my experiences at this post office have been good ones. However, they really fell down on the job this holiday season! (hence the reduction from five stars to two).
  
  Amazon tracking indicated that they delivered my package to the Crestline post office early on Saturday morning, December 23. It wasn’t in my post office box on Saturday afternoon as I expected it would be. Frustrating, but fortunately the post office had window hours scheduled for package pick-up on Sunday the 24th, so I figured I could pick up the package at that time. Nope! When I tried at the window, the clerk told me I wouldn’t get it until Tuesday the 26th. It takes this post office more than two days to process a package delivered by Amazon!!! It took less time forAmazon to get the package to Crestline from San Bernardino, 12 to 15 miles away, than it’s taking the post office to get it a couple of miles down the road from the main post office to my post office box. They can't even have it ready in two days for me to pick up myself!
  
  Edited----Apparently the blame for the delay in this fiasco can be shared by both the USPS and Amazon. But it's still frustrating and hard to believe that it takes more than two days for the post office to process a piece of mail!
  
  Another fiasco by the Crestline post office! They mixed up the keys to the lockers at the VOE location so that I got someone else's parcel and they got mine. The post office couldn't find my parcel, so I am out the $50.00 that I paid for the merchandise. This is inexcusable! I suggest that the postal workers pay attention to what they are doing when distributing the mail. It's not rocket science and really not that difficult.

  I was afraid to have a PO box over here (but is not optional if you live at the mountains) for all bad the reviews. But, I experienced all the opposite. The Postmaster (blond lady) was and is super nice to me and my wife. The other employees are always helpful and kind. I think this is about what attitude you have when you communicate with people. I love this post office, they were and they are, more than efficient with my mail!
