The beautiful place to go hiking have a nice pond and ducks but don't feed them
This place is dear to us and our pets. We love Rick Dean who recently retired. This natural scenary and outdoor beauty is surely a place the whole family will enjoy. Staff and volunteers are ???? and seem to be very knowledgeable of surrounding wildlife. George the tortuse reminds everyone that age does exist. This is a great place to volunteer and help your community remain positive.
Place is so nice and relaxing.. I enjoyed it, most of all my children enjoyed visiting the nature center.. Guillermo is awesome, he took the time to give us a little tour and explain the type of plants and trees they have there! Very professional.. I will be visiting again!!
Great place to have a child's birthday party. My daughter has had hers there TWICE and we just attended a friend's. The staff is patient and enthusiastic with the kids. The price is reasonable. The animals are fun. There are many activities to choose from and the kids really enjoy themselves. The facility is clean & in great shape.
I absolutely love it here. It's so peaceful. If you're patient and observant you will see some local wildlife, especially at night. I regularly see squirrels, rabbits, bats, and monarch butterflies. Not to mention the mallard ducks, geese, and turtles that also call this place home. If you visit please be respectful of the land and its inhabitants. Pick up your trash, it's not hard there are a number of trash cans there. It hurts my heart when I see litter there because it hurts the wildlife I've come to love. I hope you enjoy this slice of nature as much as I have.
