Wonderful place to learn about water conservation from real world examples. Beautiful gardens, great classes, and even a tortoise named Sam. Exceptional programs throughout.
Excellent learning center conservation and much more.
If you are into landscaping, horticulture, or water conservation, treat yourself to a long visit. This place has something for everyone including the youngsters. I took a class here on "Fruit Trees for Home Gardens" and came away with more information than expected.
There's a self-guided tour featuring a mosaic of garden types that offers a lot of variety in a space the size of a large backyard. They recommend visiting in the spring during the bloom.
An amazing place to learn about local plants and wildlife. Amazing gardens and place to take your kids. So many details and cool things to experience. Free and open to the public. Check out the turtles and all the free workshops they have. A great local resource and hidden gem of a place.
Really great place to take the kids for some outside air. They have 4 tortoises on the site. Also excellent place to get ideas on drought resistant plants and gardens for the home.
