  It was our first Korean barbecue experience and we liked it. Our waitress was good and informative. Basically here is an open buffet of meat and veggies that you can barbecue on your table. They serve you 4 kind of meat every time. She suggested 4 tupe of beef. One Hawaiian, a steak two really thin slice of beef. You can order some sauce and salt for your meat. The serve white rice snd Salad as well. Salad dressing was awesome. They change the grill top when it is sticky. Price per person without tax and tip 27 bucks! Really reasonable price

  Great Korean BBQ! It took a bit long to get us seated. We noticed the waiters were already bringing in the food to other people who came after us while we came before and were still waiting. That was like 6 months ago, we felt they were a little understaffed. The flavor is good, the portions are good. Best if you come with family and friends to share.

  Gen Korean BBQ is one of the best “Cook Yourself” Sit down restaurants ever!! I eat at Gen, for sure at least once every two weeks!! I recommend everybody to try it at least once! It has a great atmosphere and friendly party vibes,
  I just wish that all locations had the “Volcano Chicken” like the West Covina location!
  I recommend everyone to also take their dates to any Gen Locations! Best food!

  Long wait, decent food, great servers. The servers kind of saved the whole meal and night. Things were pretty messy, as in tables that needed to be cleaned up and they were out of a lot of beers on tap. One pitcher of beer we did try was flat. After 4-5 tries of the waitress checking with the bar and coming back to tell us they were out, we finally ended with with Michelob Ultra. Not my favorite, but the table didn’t care at that point. Maybe short staffed? Definitely a place you would come back in a pinch, especially for the price but an hour wait for a table on a Monday night was a bit much. Once we were finally seated the food came and came and came, so all good there. For under $30 a person, it’s definitely worth a try. They also have take out options!
