Unfortunately, most companies wouldn't insure me because of my sweet dog because of her "pit bull" breed (even though she's becoming a service dog). I also had a really tough time getting a quote through my fiance's insurance, Nationwide. Their rates changed every time I called and I could speak with 5 people on one phone call. They eventually added my name to his policy without consent and we've been trying for a week to get my name off and even cancel the policy. State Farm has no restrictions on pets and my quoted rate stayed the same from one week to the next and I spoke to the same person each time I called. She handled everything beautifully and relieved a lot of stress during an already stressful time. My fiance is now switching to Amanda's State Farm today after all the hassle from Nationwide he's still dealing with.
