Neat little place, staffed by knowledgeable Veterans who are now volunteers. Make sure to take your time, and also check out that chunk of Berlin Wall outside!! Long live Captain James E. Herrmann!
There was lots to see and some stuff to touch. I had a veteran take me on a tour with just my family. There was some fun activities for kids to do.
Wonderful museum, with passionate & knowledgeable volunteers. Great memorabilia from Norton AFB. Definitely must visit IF you remember Norton AFB back when it was an actual AFB.
I highly recommend going to this place. The staff was very welcoming and made you feel at home. They gave you a personal tour and showed you around. The people that took you on the tour are people who where in the air force and worked and lived on base. They had so much info and made me appreciate what the people who work to help protect us even more

Norton Air Base began its life in 1942 ferrying parts to the war effort in World War II. Its name comes from a hero of that conflict, Leyland Norton, who was a pilot and a San Bernardino native. Over the skies of Amiens in France, Norton's Douglas A-20 Havoc was struck by anti-aircraft fire.
