“I've been with Master Babayan and Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studios since 2005. I signed up with my son and daughter and it made a huge impact on all of us. Z-Ultimate teaches a traditional Martial Arts which benefits include teaching both kids and adults discipline, humility, self-control and respect. My kids are now adults and these traits that they learned at Z-Ultimate have stayed with them into their adult lives. Kempo is a great Martial Art for learning self defense, that is why it is in their name. Another reviewer left a one star review, something he has done for other Martial Arts studios while saying the reader should go to the MMA school he attends. If Kenneth Hibbard ever attended Z-Ultimate he would know everything he wrote was false. The techniques that Z-Ultimate teaches work well in real world self defense situations unlike the MMA Mr. Hibbard does. Z-Ultimate students do learn knife, gun and club techniques. As for the weapons Z-Ultimate teaches such as spears, bo-staff, nunchucks and other traditional weapons they assist in instilling the virtues of traditional martial arts. I have learned over the last 14 years at Z-Ultimate has made me a better person who is more confident and humble. I know I can handle myself in any real world self defense situation. Z-Ultimate is a family where who will make lifetime friends. Master Babayan and the instructors truly care about what is best for their students. This shows in how they interact and teach all students.”
