“This place is great! We took our 2 year old here for his very first haircut. Eric was our barber and he was so patient and gentle with our boy, he made sure that our boy was comfortable and content while also taking his time and making this a memorable experience. The atmosphere was very laid back, relaxed and professional. The shops aesthetic was like you were walking in to an old-time themed barber shop, with old fashioned music playing, and antiques from the early 20’s. We will definitely be coming back here for more haircuts!”

“Motel 6 in Decatur is in a decent location as I don't have a car so I was still able to walk to Walmart it was maybe a half a mile away and they are pet friendly very important for myself as I do have a dog and there's plenty of area for your pet to take care of their business outside they have an indoor pool that is heated very nice they also have one room on the third floor that is a Jacuzzi room their prices are decent they accept cash and card no deposit the rooms were really clean and everything was as it should have been I had no problems with my stay and I was there for a total of 2 months the third floors for smoking and the second first and second floor are smoke free they have vending machines and ice machines and I think coffee in the morning they also have a laundry facility with just one washer and one dryer but it was never busy or full I never had to wait they have plenty of parking and like I said they are located in a good area and good distance to places to eat and the Walmart and whatever else you're looking for everybody was friendly I had no problems with anybody else that was staying there or any of the staff I was able to get my linens really anytime I needed them and they even worked with me when I was waiting on my payday they helped me to feel comfortable and trusted me and took my word as to when I was getting paid and when they would be paid for the couple days that they were letting me stay without paying so I definitely paid them first thing when I got my check and I was just really impressed with their reassurance that I was okay they didn't stress me or pressure me or bug me or constantly hand me for the money I said I would have it when I would have it and they took it at that that was a really nice change from some other places and some bigger cities so all in all I had a really good stay here at motel 6 in Decatur and I would definitely recommend to everybody especially if you have a pet because they are definitely pet friendly”

“First time at this place yesterday and I’m in love! It is so cute and comfortable with great customer service...I was literally offered beverages like 5 times! I received a pedicure and a full set of ombré acrylics with Honey! She listened to me and gave me exactly what I asked for! I think this is the best full set I have ever had! I was expecting a hefty bill for what I received... I received a little design on my toes, and a pretty long set of acrylics and my bill was 52..wow! Honey took her time and provided excellent service!! They also use good quality products, not like the common little nail spot! The shop is super clean, they use new drill heads, and new files on everyone!! I’m really excited about coming here and not feeling uncomfortable like someone is talking about me in another language!! I will 100% be back in two weeks!!”

“Very nice cuts, shaves, fades, hair designs for men. Haven't tried to see if they can do females hair like layering, bangs, Bob cuts etc. Styling with a curling iron and don't think they do blow outs but they claim they do cut females hair but it may be of a short cut like the men's style or a trim, not sure feel free to call and ask. They do kids hair. My boys looked amazing but I find it pricey for kids for they are charged the same as adults $63 now once $50. $112 if you do father son special, which is nice bonding time at a dude place, yet pricey for me.”

I mentioned that I needed a haircut and my hair dyed Arial Red. I made it very clear that I wanted no bleach in my hair and I know I wanted to keep my hair long. She paired me with Marlene who was so personable and didn't shy away from my talkative mouth. I enjoyed my time their and it happened so fast! I'm very pleased with my results.
