“This is a quiet, beautiful meditation/retreat center. Sometimes it looks like you're on an island floating amongst the clouds. Well-run, reasonably priced and far from the nearest cell-phone tower. The vegetarian food they serve is delicious. As I understand it, the food is donated by a generous grocery wholesaler to the Rinzai Zen monk who manages the center (Dokan). I find that an interesting, American take on the ancient Buddhist tradition of monks being fed by the laity. And Dokan can cook -- again, delicious.”

I very much appreciate that they scheduled an appointment for me to see their dentist quickly and helped me obtain all the necessary dental specialty referrals that was convenient for my complex travel schedule.
