That is a testament to the consistency and continued effort of the people who create this cuisine. However, though there are many good Thai restaurants, there are few truly great Thai restaurants and Thai Ivory Cuisine is definitely one of the latter. I live in Los Angeles and have been fortunate to eat at many of the most celebrated Thai restaurants. I would place Thai Ivory Cuisine among the best Thai restaurants I've eaten at in Los Angeles. I eat here often and I've had many of the traditional dishes. They were all great, but where this restaurant truly shines is with their specials. When you walk in you can find these on a white board or you can call and ask. Take a chance on something that sounds good - I've yet to be disappointed! Every time I pick up my to-go order, there are always repeat customers picking up their orders. If you eat here I guarantee you'll be a repeat customer as well. Thank you Thai Ivory Cuisine! “Between us we had pulled pork, brisket, slaw, fried okra, and fried squash. All very good. The fried veggies were lightly seasoned and crisp, the brisket tender but not mushy. The pork was the star, with a nice smoke flavor by itself. Add one of their traditional NC vinegar sauces—coastal vinegar and pepper or Lexington tomato/vinegar—and it’s next level. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering my wife a sample of the slaw before she ordered it. After we had a chance to dig in a bit, the owner came over and chatted ‘cue with us a while—a topic of which I never tire. We’ve found a new top 5 BBQ spot, and will definitely be back!”

“My husband and I absolutely love this family owned restaurant! I’ve known the owner Helen for a quite a few years and she’s the nicest and kindest woman! The food never disappoints and it’s absolutely delicious! Served fresh and made to order! We eat here about once to twice a month! I highly recommend this restaurant because from the front door young ladies, to the one that seats us and beyond this place is such a welcoming environment! Our favorite waitress I don’t remember her name but she has blonde hair and is always so efficient and friendly! Trust me you won’t encounter a better dining experience than you will here! Love the staff, the food and ambiance!”
