Would've liked to explore the historical artifacts displayed throughout but was in a hurry after finishing my meal...BBQ smell when you walk in (literally as soon as you open the door!), hits you making you want what you came for that much more! Thursday special for me and my son - All You Can Eat Ribs! Salad was good and fresh. Liked their Italian dressing. Cornbread was delicious! Tasted sweet, almost like cake! Ribs were super-soft and delicious! Good sized pieces, too. Got my fill and definitely money's worth. Service was also very friendly. Happy with that...Plenty of other dishes to try so we will return - next time with the whole family!”

You have to expect to some time in this small diner (they are packed!) But we had a very good time talking and looking around while waiting for our food. Food is decent and priced decent. Bathroom could have been cleaner but wasn't disgusting. Over all 4 stars. Managers could easily make this a 5-star location with some work.”

“An old time favourite did not let us down. Solid American cooking delivered to our table in a friendly and quick way. Nice variation of Fajitas with a lot of mushrooms, quite good! The Margarita of the house for just five bucks was rather watery. The beer was better and quite large. It is true as other reviewers have remarked that the food is fairly salty. Especially the beans with the Fajitas were rich on the salt! Overall a satisfying visit just steps from our Hotel.”

“You ever go to a restaurant, looked at the food pictures on the menu and had your tastebuds start jumping? Well that's exactly what happened when I walked in Adelita's. Besides that, the pictures were deceiving to portion size, as my selection was Mas Grande more than what the image showed. My made to order soup and corn tortillas settled my tastebuds nonetheless, and the family warmth service was over the top. I'm definitely going back when in Barstow. Here's a few of the paintings that added to the ambiance.”

This place two speciality pizzas and you can pick your sauce of choice and it was only 23 dollars! The pizza is absolutely amazing. It is in the gas station so I was a little hesitant but just try it you will not be disappointed.”

The summer salad would have been better had the peach been riper, as the texture would have melded better with the soft roasted beet.
