  My roommate and I did our PADI Open Water certification with Jesse and Karol, and I came back for my Advanced Open Water certification. Karol and Jesse were both great instructors with a keen focus on safety. San Diego Scuba Center for sure has the best prices in town and equipment in great condition. Will be diving here again.

  I went to San Diego Scuba Center for my PADI open water certification. Jesse and Karol made me feel comfortable and confident the entire duration of the course. I received awesome instruction and the price could not be beat in San Diego. Everything from start to finish was structured and organized. And Jesse’s 40+ years of experience was evident in his teaching techniques. I would highly recommend San Diego Scuba Center to anyone wishing to get scuba certified, or even buy or rent gear.

  Thank you, Jesse, for a great experience and your attention to detail related to my PADI ReActivate training. It was a great confidence booster to me as I prepare to return to SCUBA, after all too many years of being out of the water. You have a great deal of SCUBA knowledge, and were eager to share it with me, which I appreciated greatly. The level of personal individual interaction you provided was excellent.

  I needed an advance certification on short notice and Jesse and his team were very helpful. They worked with my schedule and made sure I got all my dives in time. I highly recommend them!

  Jesse is an awesome instructor. I love his style of teaching. He does a great job at making you feel calm and in control. The thing that impressed me the most were his explanations of what to expect during each of the tests. He is great at anticipating what the student will feel and then preparing them for it mentally.
  
  The prices are very reasonable. And the schedule of classes to get your certification is flexible.
  
  I immensely enjoyed the process of diving and learning with Jesse and would highly recommend him to everyone.
