The wait in line was too long. Two cashiers and a wait of 45 minutes to check out is unheard of and uncalled for. But, it has a wonderful selection of foods.
Better quality then Wal-Mart's and other places. Cashiers are fast, butcher's are helpful. Fresh sushi made by scratch, fresh deli with the best prices. Parking is never a issue.
The Camp Pendelton Commissary has all the things you look for in a regular grocery store along with a huge selection and incredible sale prices. The staff is always helpful and kind and the prices are hard to beat. I just picked up packs of Oreos in classic and limited edition flavors for $.99! No complaints.
Has about anything that you want and then some. Even got a birthday cake.
Always very helpful and friendly staff, they have a little of everything, AND don't forget to bring some cash for the... I'm not sure what to call them... bagger's? I'm sure they appreciate it and are more than willing to help you unload your groceries from the buggy/kart to your car!!
