Carlsbad City Library

The Carlsbad Library system reflects taxpayers want a strong progressive library system and city investment. The staff of all ages contribute greatly to the success and care of each Library. Each of the Carlsbad professionals reflect in their own way, they are an exceptional fit in their professional style and expertise. The traditional library resources and the digital, tech type of resources at the libraries keep me so thankful for all who contribute to make these Libraries exceptional. I also notice: the cleaning people work very hard to keep it clean with such a great number of patrons.
Patrons are respectful, love the library like me, for its wonderful positive resources. It's no surprise how wonderfully supported our libraries are.

A great place to borrow books, buy a book at the used book store, surf the internet, or just hang out and just do your school work! The staff of librarians and volunteers make this a great place to come often, and all are helpful. Not to mention, the restrooms are clean. Highly recommend!

I have spent a lifetime relishing all types of libraries in the widest variety of environments. Southern California has awesome ones to add to my list. It's amazing how technology has made the invaluable and exciting world of discovering, learning, appreciating all aspects of libraries so much easier, but, also, different.

Big, clean, beautiful, and good atmosphere. Lots of quiet nooks, and a really big collection for a city. Tons of classes and resources too--they are big on education.

They treat their employees well and there are always friendly people.
