  My words can’t express how grateful we are for CCDS. I was a stay at home mom for over 2 years and am often described as a “helicopter mom.” I wanted to get back into the workforce but none of the childcare care options were up to our family’s standards. When we found Carlsbad Country Day we were so excited! We had big expectations and they’ve exceeded all of them. Every teacher cares about the kids like their own, and they even provide personalized updates on each child’s progress toward developmental milestones. Healthy food, clean spacious areas, the most caring and educated staff, incredible ownership, and an overall beautiful mission. I’m convinced that CCDS is the most superior early education institution of its kind.

  We fell in love with this school the minute we saw it. Char loves Ms. Stephany! Her bilingual Spanish teacher, Ms. Lupe, has taught her many conversational Spaish words in such a short period of time. We have found the food from the kitchen to be a favorite of our daughters! The pasta carbonara is the best!
  When it comes to a scheduling question or change, Nely and Melissa are always very accommodating. This school is more expensive then others but it is also the best!
  We would never go anywhere else.

  Our daughter attended Carlsbad Country Day School (CCDS) for kindergarten and we were extremely pleased with her experience. We wanted a school that would give our daughter a solid foundation so that she would be academically prepared for elementary school. The KG teachers (Ms Ashley and Ms Kristine) really made an effort to get to know us and met our expectations. The KG class was small which allowed the teachers to differentiated the assignments so that each child can be challenged at their own learning level. In addition, to the academics the kids were exposed to various sports, public speaking, field trips, multi-cultural day and performing at the schools winter and spring festivals. My daughter's personal favorite was Kid's Kitchen with Chef Aaron. In Kids Kitchen Chef Aaron cooks with the kids, he brought in exotic fruits for the kids to taste and shares stories of his travels across the world. His meals gives the kids early exposure to various cuisines. My husband and I believe that Melissa take personal pride in her school. Which was so glaring clear during the KG graduation as she watch each child get his/her certificate. There might have even been a tear or two :-). I was extremely satisfied by the school's zero tolerance on lice. In summary, we were attracted to the school's challenging academics but were wow'd by all of the extra enrichment our daughter experienced throughout her Kindergarten year. We have and will recommended CCDS to other families.

  This School is beyond great!
  The staff is phenomenal, my little one attends part time. The Spanish immersion teacher Ms. Lupe is awesome, so sweet and caring. The lady in the front Ms Nely is great! Always with a smile and very helpful! I highly recommend this school!

  I was in charge of dropping of my nieces off while my sister was on vacation. The lady in the front desk, I believe her name was Nely, was extremely helpful with checking the girls in. With staff like this I can only imagine what the teachers and everyone else is like. 5 stars for this awesome place !.
