Leap Coffee

Always amazing staff and great coffee. Very diverse seating perfect for meetings of all sizes, from 1 on 1's to four man groups. Will be frequenting this place for a quite a while!

Vacationing in Carlsbad (Legoland) and was wondering if there was any decent coffee place around.

Leap is a wonderful coffee shop that roasts their own beans and offer excellent pullover coffee! It’s set in a business park, which I would never have seen just driving by. Got a bag of Malawi to bring back for more enjoyment.

Husband and I are early birds. Many of the coffee shops in the area don't open till 7am or 8am. Leap opens at 6am and was worth the drive. Great coffee pour overs and the blueberry scone was very good. If you are from the east coast and want a nice coffee shop that opens early, head here.

Loved the pour over. Very spacious place and seems pretty good for studying. I wasn't there to study myself so I didn't test the wifi but the coffee was good and they have food so that's a plus.

So good! They make their own syrups! For that I would come back again and again. I've had the iced vanilla latte and the hot chocolate and so far I haven't been disappointed. Staff was nice and patient when I couldn't decide and when I had questions about the food or drinks. Very clean. No outdoor seating, but you can find some seats or couches closer to the back entrance not to far away.
