“Small GYM. Great people. I came here with my company for a team building exercise it was a lot of fun. John and Derek made us do some fun activities. I think if you do group work outs this place is fun but other then that you are limited on equipment but enough to get a good workout in. This place has trained a lot of NFL kickers and players in general.”

“Fantastic Gym! I showed up 5 minutes after they had started their session greeted by Casey (instructor). He chatted with me for a second and asked about me and my background and then encouraged me to jump right into the workout. All the people there were super nice. I went from feeling like I walked into an awkward bar to meeting some rad people who all introduced them selfs in a 45 minute workout. This is how every gym in America should be. Thanks guys”

She is attuned to the needs of the pregnant and post-natal body and is able to alter workouts to be effective, but still safe and comfortable. “I have been going to Proactive Physical Therapy for 1 1/2 years. I was injured in a head on collision with a wrong way driver which I endured 29 broken bones and my whole left side of my body is rebuilt. The staff at the Carlsbad facility is the best I have ever worked with in any of my therapy treatments I have had. Carol, Bill, Alberto, Mike, Meagan, Stacy, Alyssa. Thank you all for making our experience a great one and you guys all treat us like family. I especially like the Aquatic therapy it has brought me a long way from being in a wheelchair to walking with a walker and sometimes a cane. “The experience at Activ8 is by far one of the best. From the moment you walk in the door, until the moment you leave, you feel apart of the family. My 9 year old nieces, both who play competitive club soccer are a part of the group athletic development curriculum. They started last month and their soccer coach has already expressed the difference he has noticed in the girls speed and footwork. The classes provide a great semi-private experience creating peer motivation and personal enough for the coaches to provide individualized attention. Another great aspect is while they are in class, I'm able to utilize my open gym membership and get my work out in! I recommend them to everyone.”

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is right now. I was worried I was tool old to start a martial art. Then, I have found IKM Carlsbad and Benjamin 3 years ago and have been training there for 3 years now. The instructor is very encouraging and patient while being focused on proper technique. The classes are getting bigger every month and there's a very big range of students. That's really great news because complete beginners don't feel out of their comfort zone and they will find more advance students to train with and improve while advanced students will also find other advanced students to work with. Techniques when taught are broken down in small steps and repeated a few times. Then the whole technique is done as a whole. At the end of the class there's almost always some conditioning as well.”

“I have been looking for a nice place to start training in Muay Thai and Jui Jitsu in the Carlsbad area for quite some time. Haven't had the best experiences in the past and love to train but hate feeling intimidated.
