(June 26, 2019, 1:28 am)San Dieguito Park is really impressive. It’s huge and has many different playgrounds for kids, a few hiking trails, 8 picnic areas with barbecues, baseball field,... It has two separate entrances, the main one on Highland Dr where the playgrounds are, and the back entrance on El Camino Real where you will see a pond with ducks. They also do many fun activities for families there, and rangers are really friendly and helpful.
Parking inside the park will cost you $3, but you can also park outside (on the street) for free. -

(June 19, 2019, 9:48 pm)Wonderful park split over a lower meadow, sandy trails and an upper collection of playgrounds. The topmost playground has accessible facilities and was completely renovated earlier this year. Park up top or at the bottom for a nominal fee or in the stalls right outside. For frequent visitors you can buy a year’s parking pass.

(March 25, 2019, 12:39 am)This place is a not so hidden gem. I found this park on the Easy2Hike app and my family and I were blown away at how beautiful it was, how much fun we had, and how awesome all the little hiking trails were. The different points of interest (Hawks Nest, Pine and Osuna Overlook) all have these amazing audio boxes where you can learn about the local wildlife and fauna. They also have an Activity Trail that has two small suspension bridge and ladders on a zigzag trail. This place is also home to a plethora of medium to small playgrounds as well as a basketball court and baseball field for kids. We had so much fun and can't wait to go back.
