  I've been using CVS for my RX refills for over 25 years, in different cities all over the country (I move a lot). I have tried other pharmacies thinking I might have an easier time with refills, but I always went back to CVS. This particular store here in El Cajon, CA is exceptional. The customer service in the pharmacy is the best ever. Here in San Diego County we have over 15-Million People. Many seniors as well. There are long lines for everything, no matter what kind of business you visit and sometimes there are long lines here at this CVS store too. But the staff are some of the most compassionate and understanding people on my medical support team. They go out of their way to telephone me when there is a problem with any of my RX refills. And when they offer to contact my doctor for me, I always say 'Yes' and they never let me down. And even when there is a long line to pick-up prescriptions, they all join in to get the line cleaned up as quickly as possible. Even the pharmacy manager who is the Licensed Pharmacist, joins in on the cash register whenever the line gets long. I have sometimes been in line with a dozen people in front of me and got to the register within 5 minutes. Our neighborhood is very diverse. They give every customer the same careful attention and respect as they give to me. They know their regular customers by first name and you can't help but keep your cool when the cashier smiles at you and asks how you have been. It's very personal service and they are compassionate and understanding that some of their customers are seriously ill. I am not the most patient person in the world and when I first started going there I sometimes was rude. But once I realized how wonderful the staff is, and how hard they work, they always get the utmost respect and patience from me because I consider them a great asset in my life. They are very special people at this particular CVS Pharmacy. I highly recommend it. The best time to go for RX Refills are the weekdays, just before lunch time. Typically there is no line.
