  Like many people, I bought a gym membership because I wanted to lose some weight and get in better shape. I used the gym a few times but then stopped going because I was bored and didn’t really know what to do and wasn’t seeing any results. After a few months of paying for a membership that I wasn’t using, a friend turned me on to Proactive Evolution. I was skeptical at first because even though I wasn’t working out, I figured I could do it on my own, so I tried going back to the gym. I like that quote that says insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results. Well, after another two months of paying for a membership that I wasn’t using, I finally gave Proactive Evolution a call. The owner instantly made me feel at ease. He answered all my questions about personal training, nutrition, and fitness without ever making me feel like I was asking a stupid question (and looking back at how much I didn’t know, I’m sure I asked quite a few). Now, six months later the experience just keeps getting better. The workouts are challenging, but the way they are structured, I get to choose how hard to push myself. Some days, I feel like going all in, and some days I allow myself to slack off a little. Still, since I like to challenge myself, I always go away feeling like I got the best workout possible. There’s always lots of High-Fives, smiles, encouragement and at the end of the hour some pretty sweaty clothes. Thanks to the positive vibe and the great training, I’ve achieved more than I ever thought possible. The best compliment I can give for all that motivation and expert training came when I took off my sweatshirt as I was sitting down to dinner with a friend who I hadn’t seen me in several months. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped and she said “Oh my God! You’re ripped!” Thanks Proactive Evolution for helping me with my own proactive evolution!
