Went for an informal bridal dinner. We shared a bunch of small plates and wine and it was so perfect. Everything we had was absolutely delicious! Service was also wonderful. I would definitely return!
Fantastic meal and service. We had the roasted carrots with fennel, and mixed sausages for apps. Then I ordered the paela which was delicious. The best mussels I've ever had! My husband ordered the weiner schnitzel and he loved it. The caper sauce was a perfect touch. Our server, Kim, was very good and gave us a lot of good recommendations. And there was a waiter there who found a patron's wallet that he had dropped under the table and he immediately ran after him to return it. A nice thing to see these days. We will definitely be back.
Having Seafood Paella with assorted seafood
and chorizo, Halibut in lobster broth. Had a great shrimp cocktail; 6 oysters on the half shell. For desert we had the Basque cake. The cost was on the high side. Serving sizes look small but you will be filled when finished eating. I'm at a loss of words. Everything we chose was very very good.
Had a nice dinner here and would return for a special occasion.
- surprisingly generous entree portions (this is what will be remembered!)
- excellent food
- diverse, interesting wine list
- uncomfortable stools a the communal table (I know space might be limited around there, but the stools are just too uncomfortable to have dinner at)
- wine glasses are either the same or similar to stout water glasses. I know these are probably much durable and easy to clean but they significantly degrade the experience (glass shape impacts taste/aroma)
Cool menu, nice staff that are trying hard. Could use a little more instruction to the wait staff on menu pronunciations and the wine list options, and maybe some regular wine glasses, but otherwise great. Wine list was short but impressive and my three choices paired perfectly with my meal.
