Dr Dent took the time to explain and show me what was going on with my throat. He never rushed and recommended options no one else ever had. The office was able to see me the day after the request from my other doctor was made to relieve me of unnecessary worry. I would recommend him highly.

From a pulmonologist to a an allergist, my primary care physician sent me to half a dozen specialists in an attempt to identify the source of my chronic cough of ten years with constant post nasal drip. Finally, she referred me to Dr. Dent, an ear, nose and throat specialist. After careful assessment and providing me with information which was both thorough and optimistic, Dr. Dent offered to perform nasal surgery. He gave me confidence, so I opted for it. It was not a difficult process, however, post-op, a staphylococcus aureus colony was discovered in my upper maxillary (it had been there for a good long while). It posed a threat for infecting others and myself. Dr. Dent stuck with me for another year and a half until this condition was gone. He did a good measure of due diligence learning how to treat it, and because of that, my chronic cough is gone, and I am free of the colony. I think Dr. Dent's attention to my condition is not unique to me. He is one of those rare doctors that goes the extra mile for his patients. He has my highest recommendation for training and skill, intelligence and compassion.
