  After delivering my twin boys nine years ago, I have had significant hip pain that no doctor could figure out what was wrong with me. I have gone to several different doctors, including pain management doctors, physical therapists, a Neurologist, and an orthopedic surgeon, with no results. I had become so frustrated that none of these healthcare professionals could identify the issue that was causing my pain. My primary physician had suggested I see a pain management doctor, which I was hesitant from my experience with another pain management doctor. However, I did some research and found Dr. Veliz's office. Let me first start by saying how wonderful his staff is from the minute you enter the office to the time you leave. Now, Dr. Veliz, what a miracle he has been to me. During my first visit with Dr. Veliz, I described my pain and located exactly where I was feeling my pain as I did for the past nine years with other doctors, and within a few minutes Dr. Veliz knew exactly the cause of my pain. Dr. Veliz has been treating me since the end of last year, and I am finally pain-free. Thank you, Dr. Veliz, for giving me the ability to complete my daily activities without feeling the agonizing pain in my hip.

  Thirteen years ago I ruptured 2 discs in my back and had a double fusion. Up until 5 years ago things were going good. For the last 5 years my pain level has been at an eight daily, but I powered through. Recently something changed and it went to a 10 plus. My whole body tensed up from the pain, everything hurt. Another doctor had given me Dr. Veliz's name so I reluctantly made an appointment. I have anxiety/panic disorder and doctors are not my favorite people.
  I got to his office…let me tell you, his staff is amazing! So warm and welcoming. It immediately relaxed me. There was literally no wait to see the doctor. He came in, listened to my concerns and history. He was so kind and understanding. When he went to examine my back I told him I may hit him if he touched it because I was in so much pain he wasn't even fazed (I didn't really mean it). It took one slight touch for him to realize how tight my muscles were from the pain. I thought to myself, omg, he gets it. I wanted to cry when he said he could give me a site injection to help that day and would schedule the corticosteroid injection the following Friday.
  Two days after the site injection my pain level was back to an 8 and three days after the corticosteroid injection it was down to a five!! It is now 5 days since my second injection and I'm THRILLED to say my pain level is at a 2-3.
  I can't tell you how blessed I feel that I went to see Dr. Veliz. He is an amazing doctor and a wonderful, kind man. Thank you so much to everyone there. Thanks to y'all we will have a Merry Christmas & this will most definitely be a happy new year!!

  Dr. Jose Veliz is by far the best pain management doctor I have had. I have dealt with chronic neck and back pain daily, the pain got to a point where I had difficulties walking, sitting down, and standing. I had received an array of care of a multitude of spine doctors, other pain management doctors, physical therapist but none of them were able to accomplish what Dr. Veliz did. Only after a mere 2 minutes, Dr. Veliz was able to pinpoint what it was my sacroiliac joints that needed injections. For the first time in 2 years, I was able to walk normally and sit/stand without debilitating pain. I highly recommend Dr. Jose Veliz, Escondido, CA; to anyone experiencing Chronic Pain of any kind.

  I am 76 years old and Dr. Valiz is the ONLY physician who has successfully relieved my severe lower back pain. His expertise in administering the spinal injections has allowed me to live a normal life. He is a physician who is truly dedicated to improving the quality of life for others. You can TRUST him to carefully listen to you and provide the best medical treatment with compassion. Also, Veronica (staff member for 12+ years) is efficient and caring. I wish everyone with pain could be his patient.

  Thanks, Dr. Veliz and your friendly, accommodating, efficient staff! You all take very good care of me. You not only provide the prescribed injections/therapy, but you have excellent insight, suggestions and treatment for me. You have never steered me wrong! Thanks for always making me feel better!
